DropDown when opened pushes the layout down

Hi !

DropDrown widget has a strange behaviour when opened: it moves all the layout down to show options.

Is it possible to make options overlay other components instead of pushing them down ?

Re: DropDown when opened pushes the layout down

Yes, but you will have to define a container for the drop down, set its background to black and change your layout from Stack to Dock.

Your screen layout is Stack by default which gives you the moving of components. Dock will statically place a component to not be moved unless otherwise specified by some kind of animations or whatever.

Re: DropDown when opened pushes the layout down

Could you help me with this layout?

When I use DockLayout, one field lays on another, topMargin doesn't work

And if I use AbsoluteLayout and set it's position in pixels, the next field is drawn above this DropDown field (in opened state of the DropDown field), so I can't choose one of the options in the DropDown list.

And actually I don't like this situation when you should specify field's position in pixels(
