Error: Cannot find application entry point ( Qt Creator )

I'm trying to port an exisiting Qt project of mine over to BB10. I've commented out quite a fair bit of OS specific content from the project, with the hopes I can first get the app to deploy and run on BB10 with all the CPP and HPP files remaining untouched. (Essentially, I'm aiming to modify only the GUI and BB10 specific APIs).

When attempting to deploy the app to the simulator, I get this error in the console of Qt Creator.

"Error: Cannot find application entry point

Error while building/deploying project wordpressViewer (kit: BlackBerry 10 (target_10_0_9_1673) - Simulator)

When executing step 'Create BAR packages' "

Anyone have any insight into what may be causing this (or even better a solution)?

Hi Michael,

Not 100% sure but it might be a toolchain set up related issue.

There is a Jam session talking about how to port Qt apps to BlackBerry 10.  It might be helpful for you if you haven't checked out yet.

You can double check the set up process from the following link, just in case. Smiley Happy

Hope this was helpful. Happy Coding!
