Exported release build crashing in appworld testing

I'm developing a BB10 app and on both debug and run options using Momentics IDE the app works.

The problem comes when I make the export release build. Then the app doesn't start, not even the splashscreen.

Could be cause by a wrong created .bar file?

I tried to submit the app to the Blackberry world and they have the same issue.

Re: Exported release build crashing in appworld testing

Welcome to the forums.

Unless the export build works I wouldn't submit an app.

Do you get any error messages, or tried any kind of logging when running your export build on the device?

Re: Exported release build crashing in appworld testing

Hi, I don't get any error. The Meta-inf files are there into the bar file, so I guess the app is correctly signed.

Debug and Run options are working.

Re: Exported release build crashing in appworld testing

Can you quickly create a navigationPane template app and run it as an export build, this will determine quickly whether it's a signing problem or your code?

Making an empty tab app and same problem, doesn't start after export release build

Re: Exported release build crashing in appworld testing

Okay you have a signing problem then.

Look through this and confirm you have followed all the steps...

Click on the links within that page to make sure you have.

If you think it's all okay please post your bar-descriptor.xml file.

Re: Exported release build crashing in appworld testing

Everything is done.

After export release build,  the app runs on my real device, but not on simulator, using the same screen configuration

The simulator is not ARM code it is x86 a signed export will not run.
