Finally BB10 is NATIVE Game Pad Enabled.

Good news for the Game adddicts & Game Pad Holders

The Blackberry10 comes up with the Native Gamepad Compatibility...!!

This Update is actually being seen in one most famous games....and many more coming....

Minion Rush : HID Game Pad Enabled


You just have to simply pair your controller with BB10 via Bluetooth...

If anyone is thinking about building a Gamepad enabled game, the offer that gets you two free gamepads (plus placement in the Gamepad Enabled category) is still ongoing: http://devblog.blackberry.com/2013/11/up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-b-a-gamepad-offer-update.... Not much time left though!


Unity uses our gamepad API under the hood, so building a gamepad game is actually REALLY easy.

Is it actually possible to get the keypresses in Cascades(QML/C++)? I've been trying to find a way over the last few days. It would make stuff so much cooler, think webviews, menu structures, simple puzzle games.
