Handling the border gestures.

Since the borders of the Z10 are touch sensitive, is there a way to handle events from the borders? The left and right ones.

There is no exposed API for third-party developers to do that, and no current public plans to provide one.

It's been a long-standing feature request to disable the bezel gestures (for apps for the very young, or for "kiosk mode" apps), but I'm not sure anyone has yet requested the ability to take over those gestures aside from that.

You might want to add your request in the Jira issue tracker (link at bottom of any developer.blackberry.com page) as a Feature Request.

I figured it out.

 

In the main container in onTouch Signal, when hitting the left border the touch event returns windowX values: -1 to -6
