How to build Flac for Cascade?

I want to build Flac for a project I'm working on in Cascades on a Mac in Mometics.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/flac/files/flac-src/

I have in the past successfully built LAME and Ogg by just dragging the c and h files into my Workspace src folder before but that's not working with Flac. I have no idea about using make files, config, building libraries, etc.

Does anyone know how I can build Flac so that I can use it in my project?

I'm on a Mac, want to use Flac 1.2.1,

Mometics

Version: 10.1.0

Build id: v201303191709

Re: How to build Flac for Cascade?

If you want to playback a FLAC file you don't need to add the FLAC library, the MediaPlayer should be able to play this (and MP3 and OGG as well).

Re: How to build Flac for Cascade?

Ok from my understanding I need to first go into terminal and type:

source /Applications/bbndk/bbndk-env.sh

then cd to the flac directory

cd /Users/dave/Desktop/flac-1.2.1

 then run

./configure && make

Problem is it always is building for mac not bb10qnx. What am I doing wrong? Do I need some other file that I create in the Flac folder? Like one of those config or MakeFiles thingys?

not building for bb10qnx:

checking build system type... i686-apple-darwin12.3.0
checking host system type... i686-apple-darwin12.3.0
