How to collect logs from BB10 device?

Is there a way to collect system logs and send them to email like on old BB devices?

Thanks.

no. there is an option to send device diagnostic logs to BlackBerry, but no option to send them to yourself.

To do that you have to implement your own logging.
I have done so by using qInstallMsgHandler and writing the output to a sql database, for example.

And just to clarify Simon's comment, the *system* logs are entirely inaccessible to you. When he refers to emailing logs to yourself he's talking about your own app's logs. Those can be retrieved in different ways depending on whether you're using the slog2 mechanism or the filesystem based logging and you could send them with email, upload via Dropbox or other cloud storage, or whatever you like. There's no built-in support for any of those so it's a case of roll-your-own or steal someone else's code.

Thanks for the replays.

I'm actually porting Android application and on BB10 10.2 my internal loging won't work(using system call to logcat). So, I thought,  there is a simple way to collect global logs like on old BB devices.

If you're just repackaging an APK you may have better luck on the Android forum:

You can retrieve your Android logs though, have you seen this?
