How to disable peek?

I want to display a screen (qml) without user interaction (basically a please wait screen).

For that i display my main screen and push the wait screen on top. I don't want the user to go back or peek back, how do i disable this functionality?

I have already set

actionBarVisibility: ChromeVisibility.Hidden

to hide the action bar.

Re: How to disable peek?

No, I don't want the screen to be transparent, but the behaviour should be similar
Or can you disable the transparency? The sample code kind of looks that way.

Re: How to disable peek?

I don't think there's a way to do it device-wide, but you can do it on a per-page/container basis wth peekEnabled I think;

Re: How to disable peek?

It is a Sheet property:

https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/reference/bb__cascades__sheet.html#peekenabled

setPeekEnabled(bool);

Re: How to disable peek?

To save other people the 30min it took me to figure it out:
while you can display a page with

navigationPane.push(page);

 you have to open a Sheet with

open();
