I want to search the app in app world programmatically using cacsades. if application exists in app world , it would downlaod and launch. is it possible?

You could do this using invocation framework. Since AppWorld is a core application, it can be invoked using the target ID, given here . How to search within appworld with a specific term is also discussed in this page. Hope this is what you ve been looking for..

I doubt if that would ever be possible.. As triggering download for an app programmatically would allow a lot of malicious apps to be downloaded without user intention....
I m sure any OS would not want to do that...
