How to get ssid of connected Wi-Fi network ?

Is there any way to get SSID of Wi-Fi netwotk you are connected to ?

In Native SDK API I can find netstatus library but there is nothing about ssid there: http://developer.blackberry.com/native/reference/bb10/com.qnx.doc.bps.lib_ref/com.qnx.doc.bps.lib_re... ... (founded also some docs apbout wpa_cli but this tool is not available on simulator and probably will require root permissions for device)

Thnx for any help.

There's no API to do that, and the information is currently restricted access. If you are interested, the best approach is probably to file a Feature Request in Jira (the "Issue Tracker", link in the footer of any developer.blackberry.com page). Include details of your use case to justify the need for it.

Check first in case anyone else already has done this, in which case you can "upvote" that ticket to increase the chance it's considered.
