How to monitor MapView response?

Hi Guys,

When we use MapView in Cascade, is there any way we can know the map view is still loading? So that we can show the busy indicator image.

Thanks.

... not yet, but it's known as a missing feature - discussed this some time ago with Shadid Haque

Re: How to monitor MapView response?

You can try adding a point and once it's x or y doesn't = -1, you can assume the map is loaded (or mostly loaded).

In reality, we need MapView to load much faster and to be much more stable. It's the one component of Cascades that seriously lags behind that of iOS, Android and WP.
