How to set up a functional enviroment

i'm new to the BlackBerry Dev-World.

I'm just starting to code an App for the new BB10 App World, but i'm kind of frustrating with the complete enviroment.

Is there any "clean project" to start code with? I just simple want to code some lines and get a console output to check if my database connection is working proberly etc.

When i want to create a "empty" new BlackBerry Cascades Project and want to "Build Project", it always shows: No Binaries.

How can i start, is there a guide? Why is it so complicated to just code some lines and get an output back? iOS and Android work there much better....

Can anybody help or send some links?

Re: How to set up a functional enviroment

Just follow two simple steps from here https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/ - Download and Get Started.

It's not really rocket science... Especially for people who has developed previously.
