How to share text over BBM Group

Hi I want to share text over BBM Group. How to do that ?

If over BBM (specific contact) I use :

InvokeActionItem {
            title: "Share Text Over BBM"
            query {
                mimeType: "text/plain"
                invokeTargetId: "sys.bbm.sharehandler"
                invokeActionId: "bb.action.SHARE"
                data: "This is some text to share."
            }
        }

And it works, but how to share over BBM Group?

And is there any documentation about complete list of possible value for :

- InvokeTargetId

- InvokeActionId

- mimeType

Thanks

Re: How to share text over BBM Group

I think you can just share data without specify targetid so, bot bbm contact & bbm group will available :

InvokeActionItem {
            title: "Share Text"
            query {
                mimeType: "text/plain"
                invokeActionId: "bb.action.SHARE"
                data: "This is some text to share."
            }
}

Re: How to share text over BBM Group

sys.bbgroups.sharehandler  is the target id for BBM Groups.  Here are a couple of examples on how to share text or an image with a BBM group.  The user will be prompted to select the group to share with.

InvokeActionItem {
    title: "Share Text Over BBM Group"
    query {
        mimeType: "text/plain"
        invokeTargetId: "sys.bbgroups.sharehandler"
        invokeActionId: "bb.action.SHARE"
        data: "This is some text to share in a group."
    }
},
InvokeActionItem {
    title: "Share Image Over BBM Group"
    query {
        invokeTargetId: "sys.bbgroups.sharehandler"
        invokeActionId: "bb.action.SHARE"
        uri: "file:///accounts/1000/shared/photos/avatar.png"
    }
}

Re: How to share text over BBM Group

Hi Mark,

any news about channel and session on bbm api for BB10?

I hope that we have soon  a real integration with bbm.

Re: How to share text over BBM Group

We are still planning to bring peer to peer data connection services to BlackBerry 10, similar to channels and sessions.  Dates have not yet been announced.

Re: How to share text over BBM Group

Hi Mark,

it's possible to use InvokationFramework to open a file received from BBM?

I'd to send a file with a custom extension (.xyz for example ) throught bbm and automatically call a my application to open this file after I had registered my application to listen this file .xyz with invocation framework

regards

Luca
