How to stop animation?

I'm using translateTransition on an image and the animation works pretty good but I'm trying to stop the animation with a button press with no luck.

Shouldn't it be mainAnimation.stop() ;

opposite of mainAnimation.play():  to start it.

I checked here...

but I can't seem to find how to stop it.

Re: How to stop animation?

Posting your code could help.

Stop doesn't work if you are not specifying the root animation, or perhaps you are inadvertantly starting the animation again when you click the button, does it appear to jump?

If you've been helped click on Like Button, if you've been saved buy the app. Smiley Happy
