He will need the SDK (he can use either the blackberry-deploy command on the CLI or use Momentics to deploy the bar file), obviously after he has turned on development mode for his device.

There is no more userfriendly option at the moment.

Re: How to upload .bar file in remote location device.

The easiest way is this:

  1. add their BBID to the sandbox in your Vendor Portal
  2. create an application in Vendor Portal, if you haven't done so already
  3. upload your BAR to Vendor Portal. You don't need to submit it for approval yet
  4. make a note of the numeric Application ID

It usually takes a couple of hours between uploading your .BAR and it becoming available in BB World for your client.

To install on their device:

  1. switch on Developer mode via Settings > Security
  2. open BB World
  3. swipe down, tap Settings
  4. tap Development mode
  5. enter the Application ID you noted earlier in the Content ID field
  6. BB World should show them the app and allow them to install it.
