It is possible for an application to create notification items that appear in the BB10 hub.
But is it also possible to create messages that appear in the hub with a custom application icon in a custom application folder? Or is this reserved for services like Twitter and Facebook and not open to developers?
So far I have only found sample code for notification integration into the hub.

Applications can put a custom message in the hub, but all third party notifications appear in the same folder with the same icon.

If anyone wants to get ready for this here is how you do it:
This fires notifications, if you specify a title and body then the notification will also create an entry in the Hub. The next thing you want to do is add an InvokeRequest so that when the user selects the item in the Hub it actually does something (invoke your app to a certain page/state, invoke the browser etc).
You can get your InvokeRequest tested as well as Notifications (without the title and body) today then add in titles and bodies as soon as Hub is externally available.

I am trying invoking my application from Hub Notifications and i am trying adding the following invocation request
Along with that i am defining and same in my bardescriptor.xml
#define BB_OPEN_INVOCATION_ACTION "bb.action.OPEN"
#define INVOKE_TARGET_KEY_OPEN "MyApplication.invoke.open"
The above code is working fine till it is giving me the link of my current app and I am able to open the same page in which i was working.
But I want the invoke request to call some other "C++ Method" which will re-direct it to some other page in same app but i am not able to get that how to do it ..can you please share some example .
