I want to use system resources (UI images used in system applications) in my application. How do i access these resources?

I am developing a simple chat application on BB10. I want to use the same chat bubbles that is used in TextMessages appluication on system?

Is there anyway I can use these. Like in Android, we can access system public drawables by using "@android:drawables/button_background" or something similar way in the layout xml file.

Any pointers on this will be helpful

Thanks,

Uma

As far as I'm aware it's not possible to use system icons or images. If you've got some photoshop skills though, it should be trivial to take screenshot (vol up + vol down), create the bubble image and turn it into a nine-patch.
