I am running the IdentityService Example on a simulator: BlackBerry 10 Native SDK 10.2.0.1791, and am getting an error dialog with the error 50017 coming from the Profiles Signal onAllData(). The ID section is populated just fine, but the Profile section is not. I have tried to add a property and get the same 50017 error.
Any help would be appreciated.

That error is IDS_NOT_ALLOWED...
I must admit that I never tested the app in a simulator - will find out of that's expected behaviour...

Development has confirmed that in 10.2.0 this feature is deliberately disabled in the simulator.
They have indicated that it should work in 10.2.1.

No sample for the IDS token - it is only useful if you have a backend system that you want to also authenticate against BlackBerry servers. I don't think that capability will be made public...
Challenge is simple - just call it - and the user should be prompted for their BlackBerry ID credentials..
