I'm looking for a possibility to insert position infos delivered from my flight simulator via WLAN into the PlayBook.
I like to write an application gathering this informations from WLAN and insert them in a way that other applications reading the GPS position would see my inserted positions.
The motivation is to use a PlayBook map app to track and show the actual position of the airplane in real time.
I appreciate any hint

I don't know of any way to spoof location events. (Which is probably a good thing) (Ok - I know one - but it didn't end well )
What level access to you have to the mapping application? If it's your own mapping application you could have it retrieve coords and recenter the map.

Thanks for your reply.
For the map display I would like to use an app like Magellan Compass or Bing Maps or Nogago Maps or ...
So I don't have any access to the mapping application.
May it be possible to fake the mapping app by redirect their GPS access via a library to my position data?

It looks like the Android App "X-Plane to GPS" does what I would like to have.
Does anybody know, if this App is working on the PlayBook?
Thanks for any reply.
