Invoke the application using the link

Hi all, I'm trying to invoke my app for the actions bb.action.VIEW and bb.action.OPEN using uri  with custom file extension(file:// schema) by sending the uri from the same app on another device, in this process after acceptance and download I'm able to perform invokation.  But I wanted to send a link as a uri, on clicking it it will invoke the application, is there is any way to do this.

Re: Invoke the application using the link

If I am understanding your usecase properly, I think this will help.

Otherwise, please provide more details.

Re: Invoke the application using the link

Hi saikrishnan,

Are you still seeing this issue?

Try removing the http:// prefix of the uri of your app.

If you think this is a bug, then please use the BlackBerry issue tracker to report it. There, please attach a sample project that we can use to reproduce what you are seeing. Afterwards, please provide the link to the issue to this forum post for future reference.
