Is Mifare Classic 1K NFC Tag supported?

Found it is not supported in previous versions, but what about BB10? Is it supported?

No, it's not supported.

Re: Is Mifare Classic 1K NFC Tag supported?

Thanks, I read that, it is applicable to OS7 and Java, but what about BB10?

And by supported, does it mean the OS does not support it but the NFC can read/write anyway?

Re: Is Mifare Classic 1K NFC Tag supported?

The FAQ is for both BBOS and BB10. I know it's filed in the Java forum which may be confusing.

You cannot do anything with Mifare Classic beyond read the serial number.

I don't know what you mean by 'the NFC can read/write...'

Re: Is Mifare Classic 1K NFC Tag supported?

I want to "duplicate" a Mifare Classic 1K tag and be able to use the phoen as the card.

Can you read raw data from Mifare thought the NFC reader?

Re: Is Mifare Classic 1K NFC Tag supported?

In theory you may be able to. Take a look at the nfc_tag_transceive_raw function. Note however that Mifare Classic uses propriatery encryption and I believe requires a licence so you would be fully responsible for both these issues.
