Is it possible to load Blackberry 10 Beta Simulator using Oracle VirtualBox?

[ Edited ]

Hi,

It is mentioned that we can load Blackberry 10 Beta simulator using VMWarePlayer. However, is it possible to load it using Oracle VirtualBox?

Thanks,

Re: Is it possible to load Blackberry 10 Beta Simulator using Oracle VirtualBox?

VirtualBox is capable of running "some" VmWare created images, but - there are lots of things that can go wrong.

Have a look at: https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=49636

But why would you? the VMWare player is free - and that's the environment supported in the forums etc,..

There is no VMWare Player for Mac, you need to buy the 50 EUR VMWare Fusion. VirtualBox is free so it would be nice to be able to use that.
