Java error while creating New Developer Certificate

Hi,

I am new at BB10 Development.

After I add my BB simulator to the IDE, at the step of Developer Identification, I take the error below:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
at net.rim.device.codesigning.keytool.KeyTool.a(Unknown Source)
at net.rim.device.codesigning.keytool.KeyTool.main(Unknown Source)

How can I repair this? Am I missing some basic steps?

Thanks already,

Burak

Re: Java error while creating New Developer Certificate

Welcome to the forums!

Simulators do not require signing; You mention that you get an error when you "add your BB simulator to the IDE". Which step? Is your simulator running before you are trying to add it? are you running auto-detect or specifying an IP?
