Keylistener on QML Page shadows Keylisteners on QML Sheet

Good day

I have a keylistener on a QML Page that listens to key strokes

I opened a sheet on that page and I want to listen to the same keys from within the sheet.

                           onKeyPressed: {
                                //Perform an action when the signal is emitted

                                onKeyReleased:
                                {
                                    //Perform an action when the signal is emitted

                                    var keycode = event.key;
}
}

the keylisteners on the page shadows the keylistener on the sheet

How to solve this issue, if you have any ideas?

Best regards

Re: Keylistener on QML Page shadows Keylisteners on QML Sheet

Hi,

A possible solution (maybe a cleaner one exists):

Page {
  id: rootId
  property bool sheetOpened: false

...

//open sheet
rootId.sheetOpened = true

...

onKeyPressed: {
  if (rootId.sheetOpened)
    return;
  // process keypress

Re: Keylistener on QML Page shadows Keylisteners on QML Sheet

from my experiences the sheet breaks the flow

so while the sheet is open, keylisteners from the Page "below" are not working

you have to implement them inside the sheet again
