I am trying to launch default video player using Qt.openUrlExternally("") but its not working.

No responce at all. I tried HTTP and RTSP links with 3gp and mp4 files.

Re: Launch default media player

The BB10 approach to doing this is with the Invocation Framework. For Cascades you can read about that here https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/documentation/device_platform/invocation/index.html and for the NDK http://developer.blackberry.com/native/beta/documentation/app_integration.html (those may say the same thing... I haven't compared them).

Re: Launch default media player

Is there something similar for the Playbook OS 2.1? Basically I want to pass an http url to an mp4 video ("http://address/video.ext") or local file for playback in the external media player.
