You can define name for each translation in bar-descriptor.xml. Momentics IDE can help you.

Just click on bar-descriptor.xml and choose tab Localization

I don't know exactly what you mean. Localize BBM update?
You can localize all strings in your app. In QML using qsTr() function and in C++ tr() function

Yes only use qsTr() function. Then follow Localization page and translate string using QtLinquist

bbmHandler.setPersonalMessage(qsTr("BBM status"))
