Make Camera invisible

I have a camera object I'm trying to hide.

I tried both visibility and opacity but neither have any effect.

        Camera {

            id: camera

            objectName: "camera"

            onCameraOpened: {

                camera.startViewfinder();

            }

            visible: false

            opacity: 0.0

        }

Re: Make Camera invisible

Don't think you can hide the Camera like UI object.  You can try closing the camera if you don't need it.

Re: Make Camera invisible

I don't want to close the camera because I'm using the camera flash.

Maybe I can put a white rectangle the same size of the screen over top of it.

Re: Make Camera invisible

You can place other components overtop of the camera, similar to how you might do so for an augmented reality-type app.
