[New Dev] Taking input from game controllers; QML

Hello,

 

I am creating an extremely basic app, and I would like to be able to take input from game controllers. I scanned the code and documentation for it, and I'm afraid most of it went over my head.

 

Can someone here help me implement this into my code? To my <limited> knowledge, it should be something like:

 

onButtonAPress {

cam.capturePhoto()

}

The gamepad API is only available in C (or in a supported game engine like Unity). This is because it's really only targetted at games. So.. It can be a bit tricky to use if you aren't used to C-style programming.
