New to cascade, I need help to start learning

Hi all

I'm new to Cascade, so quite confused to get start.  I have some question that need your help to clarify:

1. I create a control in QML editor, because of the ease to do and preview, assign the id for it. Then how do I get its handle in C++ code?

2. Is there any tutorial resource for some basic need, such as: collect data from textbox, displaying the data, etc...

There're many samples but I need some principle explanation so that I can get touch with sample easier.

Appreciate your share!

Re: New to cascade, I need help to start learning

I have many basic samples/explainations on my blog for Cascades coding (link in signature).  One that is specific to linking a C++ function to a QML UI is: Running C++ Function from QML (Trivial Example) . Let me know if you have any questions on it and/or if you have any other requests for samples/examples.
