Re: Only show the menu item on tab bar

I'm not clear what you mean either but.....

You can have menu appear when the user swipes down from the top of the screen by using MenuDefinition in QML like this:

    Menu.definition: MenuDefinition {
        actions: [
            ActionItem {
                title: "Settings"
                imageSource: "images/settings.png"

                onTriggered: {
                    settings_page.open();
                }
            },
            ActionItem {
                title: "About"
                imageSource: "images/about.png"

                onTriggered: {
                    aboutInfo.open();
                }
            }
        ]
    }

 Or you can have a tabbed interface using TabbedPane as shown in this app:

https://github.com/blackberry/Cascades-Community-Samples/blob/master/HeartMonitor/assets/main.qml

Or you can use an action bar at the bottom of the screen... or use a SegmentedControl.

Perhaps the best place to start is the UI design guide here:

http://developer.blackberry.com/devzone/design/bb10/screen_structure.html

Review the options and once you have a clearer idea of where you want to take your design, if you still have problems, please post again.
