Porting from iOS to Cascades. Core Data question

[ Edited ]

I am a iOS developer at a major social networking provider (European based). I've taken on the task on porting our iOS app to Cascades (as a former Qt developer!). Anyways, my iOS app extensively uses Core Data to provide a "persistent cache" to the app to enable offline mode and quick startup.

I was wondering, if there is an equivalent framework in Cascades/Qt to provide this functionality. I am looking for a framework that sits on top of SQLite and provides faulting type behavour to manage object graph growth and memory usage.

Thanks for your time folks, and for reading my first post.

Hey, welcome to the forums!

As far as I know, right now there is no direct equivalent to CoreData in the Qt/Cascades framework.

This class SqlDataAccess I think is the closest they have to an abstraction above sqlite. https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/reference/bb__data__sqldataaccess.html

Edit: Also this one https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/reference/bb__data__sqlconnection.html
