Posting Photos to Instagram

Hi,

I'm aware that there is no public API for uploading photos to Instagram, but that various BB10 apps achieve this. I think I've also read that they require server-side code to do the actual photo upload, for some reason.

I tried emailing the devs responsible for iGrann and Blackgram, but they didn't reply to my email.

Does anyone know more about this, and/or if there are any resources on the web that explain how to do this?

Thanks!
Daniel

Re: Posting Photos to Instagram

If you want to upload photos to instagram programmatically from your app, I suggest you start at instagram developer website and try the REST APIs from your BB10 app.

Hi Shaque,

I presume you're aware that the public instagram API doesn't permit photo uploads?

Re: Posting Photos to Instagram

There is the only way to do that: to sniff network traffic (for example, by using http(s) proxy server) between the official and / or 3rdparty instagram application and to find the http requests sequence is used to upload the image.
