Predictive keyboard in Qt apps

Hi,

in my "vanilla Qt app" (no Cascades) the BB 10 keyboard isn't showing word suggestions. Is there a way to enable it?

The same question was asked in this thread, but was left unanswered and the thread is quite old.

Outside cascades I think there is no way to do this, it is users choice.

Re: Predictive keyboard in Qt apps

Do you mean that user can somehow enable text prediction?

Yep from Settings -> Language and Input -> Prediction and Correction -> Show Predictions On/Off

That doesn't seem to work in Qt apps.

Okay, good to know for those writing vanilla QT apps.

Re: Predictive keyboard in Qt apps

This isn't currently supported for pure Qt applications.
