I can't seem to pair and use the Bluetooth LE TI Sensor Tag with my Z10 on OS version 10.1.0.273.
I can discover the Sensor Tag with bt_disc_retrieve_devices, but when I try to pair with bt_rdev_pair, I get an "Operation not permitted" error (EPERM). If I skip the pairing step and just list the services with a bt_rdev_get_services, I get a "No such file or directory" error (ENOENT). Same thing happens in the bluetooth settings menu, where I can see the device, but it fails to pair.
And then when I try to connect directly to a service with bt_gatt_connect_service, I get a "No such device" error (ENODEV), which leads me to believe I need to be paired first to connect to a service.
The Sensor Tag I have pairs and connects fine with an iPhone 4S, and on the flip side, my Z10 pairs fine with other bluetooth LE devices so I'm not sure which side is preventing the pairing. I was actually at the JAM62 session at BB Live 2013 and the devices we got seemed to pair fine with the TI Sensor Tag. Not sure if the OS version has anything to do with it.
Anyone else having these issues pairing with the TI Sensor Tag, or know of any ways to troubleshoot this?

Which version of the firmware do you have on your Sensor Tag?
I'd seen problems with earlier builds...
Please let me know!

The stickers on the ones i used in the lab say 1.3.1 1308.
The devices are supposed to be upgradably - I've never tried though.

Mine has sticker saying firmware ver is 188.8.131.525 but still my Z10 can't see when I scan for bluetooth devices.
(Z10 is STL-1 on OS 10.2.1521)
Works fine on Nexus 7 with the TI demo Android app. (android 4.3 and BLE stack enabled)
Any ideas how I can get Z10 to detect it ? Are there any native BB apps for SensorTag yet ?
I tried a few android apps converted to BARs but the android runtime in BB doesn't have bluetooth access it seems.
