While using Momentics 10.2 Beta I encountered a problem while trying to run managed simulator from the IDE. I installed a new Simulator image via Momentics (BB10 10.1.0.2312). It downloaded and installed without any erros and I cann see it from the installed simulators list.
But it fails to start and connect to the installed simulator.
First I get this blank error message:
And shortly after this Out of Memory error message pops up:
I increased the memory availability for Momentics Java Runtime (-Xms args) but this still happens.
Does anybody knows a fix for this?
My previous installed BB10 images - the ones that are not managed by the IDE - are working fine so this is non blocking.
I'm running Mac OS X 10.8.4 and VMWare Fusion 5.0.3.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Can you send us logs for this problem? To do so reproduce the issue and then from the BlackBerry Native SDK click on the Help menu and choose "Report BlackBerry Native SDK Bug". This will bring up a wizard that will collect logs and walk you through the bug submission process.

Great! Thanks a lot MSohm.
Please reply to this thread when a fix or a workaround is available than I can accept it as a solution.

This should be fixed in the next release of the BlackBerry Native SDK.
If you download and install the simulator separately it should work.
