'QmlDocument' has no member named 'createRootNode'

Hello All,

I have just started the Development in BB 10 using cascade / C++,

And I have followed the first turorial tutorial from the Developer portal.

this took me around to days to sort out the Simulator/IDE Issues and the vertual machines ofcourse.

Anyways, the Issue is When I try to add some functionality to it like

appPage = qml->createRootNode<Page>();

I got this error

'QmlDocument' has no member named 'createRootNode'

Now tell me one thing if the declaration and constructors or other parts are loaded then why its unable to find the remaing mart or methods from same class?

AbstractPane *root = qml->createRootObject<AbstractPane>();

this worked perfectly fine.

Please help me in this regard.

Dear RIM, I really appriciate your effort to completely redesign the OS from ground-up.

But please make sure that a developer dont waste time in such configurations things. I know many are well aware of these but if I am concerned I am from XCODE background and not that much familier with Eclipse.So its like wasting time in these things which can be used to build great apps.

Re: 'QmlDocument' has no member named 'createRootNode'

They got rid of createRootNode with Beta3, createRootObject is now the right method to use.
