RSS Reader save which items have been opened.

Hey guys, I'm making an RSS reader type app and need a way to save which items in the list have been clicked on. Every time item is clicked, it will change color to indicate to the user that they have already read that item. This works just fine, but of course when the app is closed and reopened, all the items look the same again.

What methods would I use to save which items have been already opened. Please use as much detail in your explanation as you are willing to provide. Thank you!

Re: RSS Reader save which items have been opened.

Hi Paratheo,

You will need to use some database for this funtionality. You need to store READ/UNREAD State on the items of list in DB so that you can restore the states even after exiting app.
