Re: Release Build crashes on Startup; Debug runs fine

I think I just solved my problem.

Im on linux.. so I removed the .rim folder under my home folder.

after that I restarted momentics and I had to re-update my api

after that I went into Window -> preferences -> Blackberry  and went through the BlackBerry deployment setup again. Created a new signing token.

I was now able to sign and deploy an app even though Momentics still came back and said there was an issue running the deployed app.. the app did infact run and seemed to run fine.

Re: Release Build crashes on Startup; Debug runs fine

So I FINALLY got my app to deploy in Release mode.

Here is what I did.

* Update SDK to 10.2 Gold

* Update target on device to 10.2

* Changed Main.cpp :

int main(int argc, char**argv)

to
Q_DECL_EXPORT intmain(int argc, char **argv)

* Bar-Descriptor Release config from AppName.so to libAppName.so.1.0.0

Note: I'm yet to confirm the device operates on multiple devices, but it works. Not sure which of the above worked, as I tried each individually. Seems I just found the right combination
