Simulator taking very long to load app

Does anyone know why it takes so long for my app to run on the simulator?

Re: Simulator taking very long to load app

It will obviously be dependent on the speed of your native processor and the amount of memory you have.

It's fairly fast for me on an i5-2410M 2.30Ghz with 8Gb of memory, separate graphics card.

If you believe it's your app that may be slow you can do some profiling...

Re: Simulator taking very long to load app

I saw DRAMATICALLY improved simulator performance when I recently switched from a 4GB laptop with no hardware virtualization to one with 16GB that DOES have virtualization.
