I've been using the dev alpha to test my app successfully these past few months. The problem is I have to use the simulator now and everytime the app starts, it checks for the BBM connection. BBM doesn't work on the simulator so what is the easiest way to get past this?

You can use BBM in the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha simulator, you just need to run and configure the BBM Server Simulator too. Check the readme.txt in the bbm directory in your simulator install directory for instructions.

Thanks Mark. I've done that and only once got it working successfully with the BBM server and Java Cryptography Extension files. But whenever I got it working, I could not deploy my apps from the simulator anymore. I think it had to do with the files from the Java Cryptography.
I will continue to work with it though. Thanks.
