Splash Screen image stuck

I am slowly developing a native app using Qt. Everything within is working as expected. However, sometimes, my splash screen image gets stuck somewhere and shows up in other apps. For example with the Press Reader app the background behind the list of countries is my splash image.

Has anyone seen or heard of something like this?

Thanks

Re: Splash Screen image stuck

Didn't see this problem yet. But I mostly only use my App plus Browser and Email.

Is your App running correctly when this happens or is it showing the splashscreen at this time?

Do you show your own Qt-splash or the one automitically shown by playbook OS?

Re: Splash Screen image stuck

My app doesn't have any noticeable problems. I was using my own splashscreen but removed it for now. I rebooted my PB so I'll have to see if the stuck image returns.

Thanks

Re: Splash Screen image stuck

For the record I saw this behavior yesterday.

It was even weirder I was watching a full screen flash.

The flash image was square so my splash screen appeared in the "black" regions to the left and right.

It also popped up elsewhere

So obviously the splash screen is somewhere in screen memory

Re: Splash Screen image stuck

I must say I am glad it happened to someone else! I switched my app to the default splash screen and the problem does not show up as often. However I did see it just last night playing Call of Duty.

Re: Splash Screen image stuck

I noticed the same thing on Sunday, I fired up the video player to watch a movie on the plane and there was about a half inch top and bottom of the video viewer where I could see my slpash screen. I rebooted and the video player filled the screen as it should and I didn't see the splash screen again...

Cheers,

Jon
