I've run into the same issue and if a deadline is on your back just look for that version and compiled it there, not the prettiest but statistically it'll get u out of the loop faster and later you can figure out what is the story.
Right now I'm having the same issue I have an app that compiles/works on 10.1.xxx but it will not generate simulator binary in 10.2.1 I'll give a few more shots and drop it as it seems like I hit the wall.
Some guys say reinstall the sdk you may want to try that also the few times I reinstalled on similar situations didn't make a difference.

The client is now getting this error:
Process 64311526 (cascades) terminated SIGSEGV code=1 fltno=11 ip=780ba35c(/base/usr/lib/libGLESv2.so.1@glPixelSt
I have no idea about this

Seen that before, if it worked before something in your code or setup is not right for the version u r using. The only way I got around that was start at a previous working stage of the code and start adding pieces until you see what is causing it and patch properly.
In my current issue I managed to get over it by redoing the project import and making sure the ill-version I had was deleted and all of its references were nuked

Are you losing the backtrace information as this show where abouts it's happening?
If it does just set a breakpoint slightly before and step through.
Looks like something to do with graphics to me but then that could cover a lot of areas.

Actually the problem is not with my workspace ,its with client's workspace so I can not debug or request him to do that. He has just sent log and I need to figure it out
