The config.pri file will not regenerate

Hey everyone, I am using Git as version control for my project and I was getting lots of merge issues from the config.pri so I removed it from the repository. It said it was auto-generated by the IDE so I figured there would be no issues removing it.

After doing so, my IDE refuses to generate a new config.pri. It doesn't matter if I change the .pro file or clean and rebuild the project, it never shows up. I've even tried creating an empty config.pri file in hopes that the IDE would recognize it but still, nothing.

If anyone has anything that can help me, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried making a new project from scratch? And then copying your files back across?

Re: The config.pri file will not regenerate

I'm also using GIT and config.pri is on my list of .gitignore

I have no problem with re-generating the file by the IDE

I can delete and immediately it's regenerated

Re: The config.pri file will not regenerate

This worked. Thanks! Kind of annoying to have to do that...
