Re: Unable to release application on target

Please read https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/documentation/getting_started/tools/compiling.html

Have you done this:
     - Update the main() declaration in the main.cpp file:
                        int main(int argc, char **argv)
                        Add the Q_DECL_EXPORT symbol before the declaration:

Same issue as

Re: Unable to release application on target

I have given the macro Q_DECL_EXPORT before the declaration of main  and also added the

device {
CONFIG(release, debug|release) {
DESTDIR = o.le-v7
QMAKE_CXX_FLAGS += -fvisible
CONFIG(debug, debug|release) {
DESTDIR = o.le-v7-g

Stll i cant able to release the application for device-release  target....

Re: Unable to release application on target

I tried all that stuff to migrate my project to the GOLD SDK and I could never build my DEVICE-RELEASE properly.

What I did in the end was create new workspace, create a new project and then just copy all my source back in and reconfigure the PRO and Bar-Description file.....

Re: Unable to release application on target

For my case, it is an error that found only when QT is trying to compile moc file.

Eclipse has never showed any error message in this step.

So, I compile it in commandline then error message pop up. And I just fix it.

Re: Unable to release application on target

Hello ,
From my perspective why don't you try to refresh the SDK.From the QNX momentics IDE click on the update native sdk button.
Then restart the IDE.May be it will help

        I think u have already done what ever is mentioned on below link

        Just cross check if you are pointing to correct asset path in the   bar-descriptor.xml file

       <configuration name="Device-Release">
       <asset path="arm/o.le-v7/lib***ur app**.so" entry="true" type="Qnx/Elf">****urappname**</asset>

Note: Mark your post as solved, if this helps you
