Re: Unresolved symbol errors when attempting to load Weather Guesser demo on 10.0.9.388

Since this is standard unix session you can do:

slog2info -w |grep qt-msg

 Works fine for me

Ahhh, thanks @Produktyf, it works fine.

RIM should add this to the documentation, not everyone is familiar with unix shell commands...

I will add this to my BBJam Unconference Session 'HowTo speedUp development with Momentics IDE' - the session with more questions then answers ;-)

@ ekke "....the session with more questions then answers" haaaahaaha. Great. Thanks!

By the way, maybe you can discuss why the DevAlpha (A) seems a bit laggy after the update too. I guess it has something to do with the log session thing...

I will read your blog for sure

ekke:

Perhaps one of the following keypress combinations, or simply cutting-and-pasting, will produce the "pipe" character (I don't have German keyboard):

Option + 7 ?

Shift + Option + L ?

TextEdit / Edit / Special Characters ?

Cut-and-Paste ?

already tried all combinations with 7 etc....

copy/paste from TextMate works - but would be great to know HowTo enter directly

and would be much better to have a View to get the Log with comfortable filtering

if you compare this with logging in Android 4 and Eclipse IDE Views - there's a big difference ;-)

Re: Unresolved symbol errors when attempting to load Weather Guesser demo on 10.0.9.388

Well, at least the slog2info -w process survives across debug sessions, which somewhat ameliorates the inconvenience.

Log view option(s) would be a good enhancement request. While I haven't looked for it yet, I assume that there's BlackBerry JIRA issue-tracking for the Momentics IDE ?

You should be able to filter using the "grep" utility, something like this:

slog2info | grep qt-msg

(Edit: Oops, sorry, I didn't see the earlier reply that says the same.)
