I am a android developer ,currently started learning blackberry native apps.
Some of my doubts.
1) I have created a app in android calling youtube g-data API playing videos and playlists in youtube player. Is it possible to do the same in blackberry?
Reference my app Google Playstore link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.
2)Or alternatively can I play the direct video URL in my mediaplayer or WebView by default fullscreen?
Note: I don't want to show entire youtube website in Webview .
Please guide me on this.

Do you want to re-write your app in C++/QML as BB10 is perfectly capable of supporting Android apps in a native fashion?

Porting android app to BB 10 i have allready done , the application doing well. but only problem with playing the video using Youtube VID, for that my app is depend on Official Youtube application. It is compulsory to have Youtube app installed in the device, only then I am able to play video from my application.
And also i want to develop native c/c++ BB 10 app for this for better performance.
In blackberry we dont have official Youtube app acording to my knowledge. so its showing exception "Update the youtube application"

I understand you would either need to make sure that app is present or indeed go for native.
There's a good explanation from Rashid on implementing YouTube playback by invoking the Media Player or using WebView here...
