analysing a sound file

hi everybody ,

 

anyone know how getting basic informations like(decibel ,frenquency...)from a sound file ?

For frequency you'll need to do a FFT transform on (a section of) the raw audio stream. Here's a couple of libs:

A bit of research into audio signal processing might help getting the terminology right. Decibels aren't really relevant in the digital domain, and are quite vague anyway. Amplitude is probably what you're looking for.
