error 13 when running sample applications on dev alpha

I installed few sample applications onto my Dev Alpha device about 10 days ago, they all worked fine when I installed them. I was attempting to show them to someone today but for each one I got the error message:

"Unable to start <application name> due to error 13"

This appears as a notification in the top left corner of the screen.

Any ideas? I know that my debug token has expired so could this be causing the issue?

Expired debug token causes error 13. Just create a new one, install, and it should go away.

Is there a way to permanently install an application? I've made myself a little tool and yesterday I have found out that it doesn't start.

SIgn this tool and it'll work forever.
