gSOAP error

Hi all!

I have been using gSOAP to connect to a webservice on simulator and it was working fine. Working on a real BB10 Alpha device is a different story: no error messages during compilation were displayed, but I get:

free malloc object that is not allocated:/builds/BB10_0_04-Worldbuild/latest/svn/lib/c/alloc/dlist.c:1072

when connecting to the webservice.

Any clues?

Re: gSOAP error

i tried gsoap as well, and did not succeed.
RIM staff did not succeed with it either, so i decided to go with QtSoap, at least to get things started.

In case you didn't see the threads Simon refers to:

Did you confirm that the free is within the gsoap library?  If this is reproducible, you might be able to track down what memory is being freed without being allocated (or double-freed).

Re: gSOAP error

OK, now I really don't know what it was... I have built the app again from scratch, leaving only soap client with gSOAP libraries and it works flawlessly! After re-adding the webservice code to the main app it is still working (both on simulator and alpha device).

As for now, it is only http connection, soon I will have to go https...

It is not compatible, the folks at BlackBerry did not succeed in building it.

You can use QtSoap or KDSoap
