how do I get 2 apps running in the simulator?

I have the hello world app compiled and installed on the simulator.

So I have that and the web browser.

The simulator behaves much like the PlayBook with gestures (see: PlayBook Gestures for a good write up of them).  Sounds like what you want to do is open one app, minimize it, then open another.

Re: how do I get 2 apps running in the simulator?

The bezel in the simulator is much like that of the playbook.  Clicking on the bottom of the black bezel will minimize applications, sides of the bezel will switch between apps, top will bring down options, bottom right will rotate the device and bottom left will bring up the keyboard.

Once you minimize the application you can simply launch a second application by clicking on the icon.

For more information on the bezel please refer to the documentation at the link below.
